Imagepacks

Ok, I looked through the memories and couldn't find an answer...

I made a few brush packs and want to upload them for people to use. My problem is I'm not sure about the image packs. Usually I just stamp the brushes on a white background and stick the .jpg in photobucket or whatever, that way people can save the image and define the brushes on their own in their program of choice (I use PS7). What I'm wondering is: Is this ok? Should I be doing something different or is putting all the brushes on a .jpg for people without PS7 ok?

Any help is welcome (as are opinions)!
