I have a quick question about Photoshop. I've been using Photoshop 7 for a few years and am fairly skilled with it and did several graphics and diagrams for a planning project I was working on for a class. One of the kids in my class was impressed and would like me to teach him some basic stuff in Photoshop before he graduates, skills for the new job and all that. He's bringing his laptop to work tomorrow morning and I'm going to take a bit of time to walk him through some processes and everything, just give him some techniques for improving colors, layouts, teach him how to effectively use layers, masking, assembling diagrams, basic filtering for rendering effects, etc.

Now my problem is this: his laptop is a Mac and I've always used Photoshop on a PC. Also, I'm fairly reliant on keystrokes, such as ALT+Del for flood filling a selection with the foreground color, because it's faster for me than picking the tool and clicking inside the selection (plus it doesn't require changing tools), stuff like that. If anyone is familiar with both versions of the program, could you alert me to any differences I might encounter, like if any menus are set up differently, things are in a different place, or whatever. Also, if I could get a list of keystroke shortcuts, since they sometimes work differently on Macs (which was exciting the summer I worked on a Mac at the office and a PC at home and nearly crashed both computers with the wrong keystrokes on several occasions). If anyone has any information to share, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
