Ok, so this is going to be my first tutorial ever!

We are going from Image hosted by Photobucket.com to Image hosted by Photobucket.com.

*edit*Forgot to mention, I'm using PSP9*edit*

First find you picture. I chose this one. I got it from http://teganandsara.org/.

I went to image-->mirror before I cropped it and resized it too 100x100.

I then desaturated it by going to Adjust-->Hue and Saturation-->Hue/Saturation/Lightness and lowering the saturation all the way down to -100.

Sharpen it once or twice by going to Adjust-->Sharpness-->Sharpen

Now I have my basic base.

I dublicated it twice and set the top duplicated layer to burn 46 opacity, and the second layer to screen 100% opacity.

I get this.

Add this texture by blue_orchidea Image hosted by Photobucket.com and set the blend mode to hardlight opacity 100.

I now have this.

now I think i want to add some brushes. I make a new layer and I use the following brush by inxsomniax

After the brush is on there, I figure I need a little more color so I add this gradient Image hosted by Photobucket.com and soft light it at 100% opacity.

Whoa! Ok! Too..uh, orange. This is why I make a new layer and fill it with a dark color blue (I chose #0D0E4B and set it to color legacy at 40% opacity.

I want it to be a little darker, so I dublicate the blue layer and change it from Color legacy to burn.

Next I create a new layer and add the same brush once again, just so it is stronger.

And I finish by adding this texture
again by blue_orchidea and set it to soft light.

And your done.

You can add some text. I used arial 16 for sara and Tahoma size 3 for the really small text just for clarification.

Oh and I also added this border to it.

I know this probably wasn't the best tutorial in the world, but I still hope it was helpful. :)

Good day!
