Diagonal Lines, Font

I have two questions.

1. I've looked through the archives and found a nice set of 100x100 screen tone brushes, however, I'd like to do the effect of diagonal lines (as on this icon) that cover a larger space. The lines are solid, if that makes a difference.


2. What font is used in that same reference image?
