Animation Resize

I made my first ever animation icon, and posted it here last night. I just realized though that after I made it, it is now to big for LJ. 125KB file size to be exact. I looked in the memories to find the answer to this question, but could not find something pertaining to my problem. I want to keep the animation the same, but shrink the file size so that I can dowload it into my LJ. I do believe that LJ can handle an icon no bigger than 40KB. Is there any way to resize my animated icon without having to do it over, or changing my original animation? I am working with GIMP 2.2
