IPod Tutorial
You know those Ipod Commericals and the images that are like everywhere? Well, here's a tutorial to make one.
I took the tutorial that
orphen made. A friend of mine was having trouble with it. So I tried to make it easier.
Step One: Find your Image
I'm using a image of Sy-Klone from He-Man. You want to make sure you image has a white background, you don't need to, but if you don't you'll have to remove the background so you have a white background it's easier to work with.
Step Two: Click on colors then grey scale
Step Three: Colors then Adjust/Brightness Contrast
You want to try and remove most of the gray and make it darker, I use the settings bellow.
Brightness -63 Contrast 88
Step Four: Adjust then Gamma Correction. Made sure the red/green/blue are pulled ALLL the way over to the left
Now as you see bellow this is what my image is. There's some dark grays and light whites and what not.
Step 5: Colors/Decrease Colors/2 Colors.
This willmake your colors BLACK & WHITE. You might have to zoom in and close some gaps in the picture. You may not. Depends on the picture.
Step 6: Now what I do differantly is pick any color and don't matter what. I like to put the color of the background for the image I'll use. So, I'll pick blue. Now, you want to make sure you ENTIRE background is whatever color you use. It'll look like this.
Step 7: Now what you need to do is replace all the white left over with black. Just click on the Color Replacer. Replace the white with black and you'll get this.
Step 8: Resize the image to your regular icon setting.
Now depending on the image you could skip this step. but if you look at the image bellow, there's no room for me to put text on it. So take the image and either move it to the left OR right depending on where you want to move it.

Now you need a image of a Ipod, you can use the one bellow.
Step 10: place the idod where you want to on the image. You may ahve to resize it, depending on the image.
Step 11: You want to draw the wires from the ears of your image to the pod. Do that and you get this.
Step 12: Add text and your done.
I put WindPod becuase Syklone deals with wind.
So there ya go.
