PSP 8 installation question

Hello, everyone. I'm new and I'm having a major problem. I bought PSP 8 yesterday and was getting ready to install it on my Windows XP computer. It didn't start up automatically, so I went in my disk drive and tried to start it that way (like the user guide says to if the program doesn't automatically start). I get this messege saying that my computer can't read from the disk, that the disk could be corrupted or that it could be using a format not compatible with with Windows. I tried going on Jasc.com to look for an answer and the only thing I found was that yes, PSP 8 was compatible with Windows XP. This, obviously, doesn't help me at all.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do?
