Screencapping-PowerDVD-squashed caps

I'm delving into the world of screencapping. I'm using PowerDVD. I looked through the *memorable screencapping posts* here and I couldn't find my answer. I hope it's OK to ask here.

My caps are coming out a little squashed looking and not very clear. Is there a way to set the resolution or something so they come out clear and not squashed.

Any help or direction to where I can find help will be very much appreciated.
