Idina Menzel Icon Tutorial. Very simple. PSP9

This is my first tutorial.

We'll go from this://to// very easily.

1. Start out with your base.

Sharpen it once and duplicate the layer. Set the layer to screen at 78% opacity.

You'll have this so far:.

2. Add this gradient. Set to Darken at 36%
 crumblingwalls  I think...
Idina now looks like  (Gosh, even with her mouth gaping, she's still beautiful!)

3. Add this light texture and set the layer to Screen 100%.

Now, you should have . (Randomness: If you set this to Hue, [I think] she turns a lovely shade of green...which will go with your Wicked theme! !)

4. Add this texture. Multiply 75%

Elphaba will look like

5. Duplicate your background image again and bring it to the top of all your layers. Set to Saturation (L) at 48%

6. Add your text (I used Georgia size 6.) You may have to duplicate your text layers, too.

Tada! You now have my very own Idina Menzel/Elphaba/Defying Gravity/sing your heart out icon!
