repairing an image in PS7

in photoshop 7, if there's a picture of say, a backyard, taken through a window and the very center of the picture/window is the camera flash & you don't want that in the pic, how would you go about removing the glare on the window? if you need to see the pic to know i'll be glad to post it under a cut. thank you very much if you're able to help :)
