Having a problem

I'm having a problem with text. Even when I have fonts like Ariel on anti-alias, it still looks italicized for some reason (and it's on normal, not italics). Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks. Oh, I have Photoshop CS

Here's an example of what i mean: icon made by me. It's ariel, regular, but it looks slanted and nasty.
