simple tutorial
someone asked me how I did my user icon: marrisa&ryan.
I cant remember who was it so i'll post the tutorial here
and hopefully that person reads it!
ah, no worries. It's for anyone else who wants to know how to create
that icon too x)
1)open a new document with the image size
of 100x100px
2)I chose brown colour in this case and used this brush:
3) I used this polaroid brush by
100x100_brushes with the colour black and set it
to darken, 100%.
4) Next, i use this picture of Marrisa&ryan, taken from TheOC site
and drag it into this document.
5) Right click on the picture and choose free transform.
To resize the picture proportionately into the frame in the polaroid, press
down on shift and resize. To transform/rotate the picture till it gets
into the frame, I right clicked on the picture and chose "free transform":
So now, i've got the picture inside the polaroid.
6)Next, I just add in the text:
and tata, u get ur icon!
No special effects or other instructions are needed. its easy as 1,2,3!
