This is my first tutorial! So please tell me what you think!

Then, I shrink the image down, and crop it for a somewhat interesting angle, and I have this:

I bring the saturation down on the base to -40%, duplicate, and set the duplication to screen to brighten it up a bit.

Then I duplicate the base again, and set the duplicate to soft light and -100 Saturation.

Now, I add (this) gradient, made by me, on top and set it to ‘lighten’ at 100% opacity.

And I have this:

Now, I’ll add these two light textures by teh_indy:


And set both to ‘screen’.
We now have something that looks like this:

Which I like, so now it’s time for text! For this icon, I typed the word ‘Paradis’ in FFFFFF (white), kartika, 72pt, and -100 spacing. For the text underneath, I used times new roman, 1pt, and just typed gibberish, cause I don’t think anyone can read that.
And voila! Our finished product:
