Capturing on WinDVD
I've searched the memories and can't seem to find anyone mentioning my particular problem, so I thought I'd ask and see if anyone knows...
I can't seem to get my WinDVD to take caps from DVDs. At all. The camera is grayed out, and pressing 'P' appears to do nothing. WinDVD suggests disabling 'Hardware motion compensation' under properties, but it, too, is grayed out and I can't even try that to see if it would fix it.
It /will/ allow me to make caps with downloaded files, though.
Does anyone know why WinDVD is refusing to make caps for me, and if there's a way to fix it? I've tried this with several different DVDs, and get the same lack of result every time.
