i looked through the memories and didnt find exactly what i was looking for...

i use psp7, i am semi-farmiliar with it. i have a base of an icon the i want to want a light effect to it. i open up the light pattern copy it, paste it on my base and i expect it to just magically appear on the base blended in, but its not. the light pattern is covering up the base so its not really blended. same with the  patterns or colors...also, for psp7 how do you change a pic to a different color [i know grey scale then that but i mean different shades and everything]..?
