Today we will be going from this - Image hosted by Photobucket.com to this - Image hosted by Photobucket.com. Its a very simple tutorial.

1. Yay this is our base. Lovely isn't it?

2. Now, I add a size 1.6 Times New Roman "t i n k". Its a green from the picture somewhere.

3. Now I add this gradient from teh_indy.

and set it to lighten. I duplicated the base and set it to soft light and placed it in the top level at an opacity of 68. Now I have this.

4. I added another gradient from teh_indy ontop of the other gradient, but under the soft light layer.

and set it to screen. This is what I have.

5. The text it a little unreadable, so I duplicated the text layer, set it to mulitply and lowered the opacity to 65. I played around with its placement and decided to put it in between the two gradients. Now I have this.

6. Finally, I wanted to adda little something, so I put this brush - Image hosted by Photobucket.com on a new raster layer right above the second text layer - color CC477C. (It should be third from the top. I set the brush layer to color dodge and presto, we're done with this.
