PS-CS problem with brush tool?

Ok for some reason my brush tool has suddenly changed into the "precise" cross-hair. I have looked at the cursor settings and everything, and it is all set to "standard" like it should be...so does anyone have any idea why my cursor suddenly turned into a 'tard and doesn't wanna play nice with the other children?
