Okaaay. Since someone requested a tutorial for an icon I made, I shall make one :D. I'm just not sure if you guys would understand it, though :/.
Learn how to make this icon:
BTW, I used Adobe Photoshop 6.0 for this. LOL.
1. I used this photo of ron and resized a part of it to 100x100.
2. Next, I duplicated the layer once and changed the blending options to screen mode. You can change this by double clicking the thing in the layer palette thas says "layer 1 copy"
3. Then I used this gradient by
blimey_icons and put it on top of rons picture and changed the blending mode to saturation and set the opacity to 75%
4. Now this is the tricky part. I used this tape brush byteh_indy and resized a part of it to 100x100. This is what I got:
5. Then I cut on another part (A little smaller so it can fit the picture, if you know what i mean) and estimated where I want it in the picture and erased some of it so it won't go over ron's face.
6. After that, I put it on top of ron's picture and moved it to where it fits the best and set the opacity to 64%
7. In that "tape part", I put in the text "SCARED" in garamond 9pt and set the opacity to 65%
8. And there it is. I hope you understood this. LOL. I'm crap when it comes to teaching people. Hahaha. Comment with what you came up, if you want to. I'd love to see :)
