my second icon tutorial i made!!!

to make an icon like this


im gonna use this base emily made... thank you!


okay first sharpen it once, duplicate it and go to adjustments -> hue/saturation
set it to this hue 180, saturation 0, lightness 0 then click okay. and set that layer to softlight and merge layers together (ctrl + E).

now duplicate the base and set the duplicated layer to overlay

now make a new layer with this gradient and set it to hardlight

make another layer with this gradient and set it to soft light with an opacity of 30%

now make another layer with this gradient and set it to pin light with an opacity of 75%

now duplicate the base and drag it up to the top and set it to color

make a new layer with this light effect and set it to screen

make a new layer and fill it with this color "FFCC99" and set it to multiply with an opacity of 36%

make another layer and fill it with this color "FF3333" and set it to pin light with an opacity of 25%

now duplicate the base again and drag all the way to the top and set it to soft light

then make a new layer with this light effect again and set it to screen with an opacity of 75%
merge evrything together and your final result should look something like this


for the text i used this color "C1BB9E" in palantio linotype and set it to multiply right clicked -> layer style -> outer glow set the color the same as text click okay and duplicate it.
