Hello everyone. Here's my problem: I can't get my small text to be the crisp, non-blurry quality that some other icon-makers seem to be able to achieve. (If confused by what I mean, look at the icons at 
blimey_icons, since they have the best examples of what I am talking about). I have tried using different anti-aliasing options. I have tried adjusting the kerning--it doesn't help very much. I have even tried typing the font in a larger size, then scaling it down. None of those work. Even text around the size of 7px is extremely blurry. Here is an example of my 'blurry text':

I was wondering if there was anything else I could do to get better quality of text. Are there other graphic programs (other than PS) that can produce really clear text? I've already tried using Corel Painter and GIMP. Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated. :)
