The icon was made following a lot of
The starting image
Chose what part you want on the icon. Crop it down to that.
You can either resize it to 100x100px but you lose a lot of the quality that way so i prefer to ...File/new/width 100 height 100/ selections/select all. Then go to your cropped image ... edit/copy. Now back to your selected new blank image ... edit/paste into selection.

Now we have our base.
1.) Adjust/Brightness and contrast/Automatic contrast enhancement ... bias (select darker) strength (select normal) appearance (bold).
2.) Adjust/Brightness and contrast/clarify ... strength of effect (select 5)
3.) Adjust/Brightness and contrast/levels ... channel (RGB) Input levels (10 / 0.89 / 248) Output levels ( 0 / 255). Click ok.
4.) sharpen
5.) Duplicate base. Turn the duplicate black & white. I chose the channel mixer method.
6.) set this layer to 'screen' at 50% opacity.
7.) new layer. Flood fill with #D1B7AB

11.) New layer. Another psp8 gradient. It's called 'Raindrop', i positioned it at angle 128. It's basically transparent expect for the bottom right corner which is faded white. This is a example of it on a yellow bg
12.) New vector layer. Add your text. I chose lyrics from her song 'Breathe on me'
13.) Now using the select tool and the 'raindrop' gradient again i added a border around the icon. And lowered the opacity to 66% for the faint look.
