I have a question. It doesn't really concern "icon making", but because the rules state that this community is A place to learn now to use graphic design programs, I thought I'd ask anyway.
I use Photoshop CS and the thing I make most in it are headers/imagemaps for layouts. Now my question is, what is the easiest way to devide an image into 2,3,... seperate images?
Random example:
lacelamb: Her header is made of two seperate pieces (top and bottom)
What I do is use the select tool, right click and choose layer via cut and then I past each layer into a seperate image and crop. The problem with this is that it takes a lot of time and I often end up with white borders or overlaps. So if anyone knows a faster way I would be very grateful.
