How to make this icon:

2. duplicate base // set to screen // 30% opacity
** change opacity depending on lightness/darkeness of the pic.
3.
duplicate again // ** the screen one
4.
fill with #FFFEEC set to multiply 100% 
5.
with this gradient made by 
crumblingwalls set to screen 60% 
6.
with this gradient made by crumblingwalls set to soft light 100% 
7.
with this gradient made by crumblingwalls set to burn 70% 
8. I did the text first because I found it easier.
font // arial black
pt // 5

sexy
alignment // center
9. open a new layer under the text // select the paint brush tool
- select the square brush size 12 or 14 // using this color #FFFEEC or the color that would match most with your icon
- make a line under the wording, in this case under “reading” and “sexy”
settings should look similar to this:

10. select the deform tool
the selected space
** it should be just where the two lines are that you just made and move down or up , in my this case up

11. repeat steps 9 and 10 this time under the other word, this case “is”

12. now go to effects >> 3d effect >> drop shadow
settings: vertical: 1 // horizontal: 2 // opacity: 50 // blur: 5 // color: black
do this for the layers with the strips ** the previous 2 steps
