Downloading Fonts
I didn't know whether or not this could go in here but hopefully it can. This is mainly for one person, but hopefully it will be helpful to new icon makers soon.

01. I went to dafont.com. Some other font sites are 1001 Free Fonts, A1 Fonts, etc.
02. I used the search tool to look up the font BASE 02, and reached this page:

03. Right-click on the "Download PC / Mac OS X" button

04. Click Save Target As ... (I'd recommend making a seperate folder for the fonts you've downloaded.) Then save it.

05. Wait for it to download ... and then a pop-up will come up and have the option to Open, Open Folder, and Close. You want to click on Open Folder.

06. Find the Zipped Folder for the font you just saved and right-click on that folder. The Click Extract All...

07. Then when the Windows Extraction Wizard pops up. Click: Next - Next - Finish

08. Open the now, unzipped folder (it should have the same name as the zipped folder, the one you downloaded, did) and look for the TrueType Font File. Right-click the file and press Copy.

Now this is where it changes, depending on what style of windows your using.
For Windows XP Style:
09. Click My Computer - Control Panel - Appearance and Themes - Fonts

For Windows Classic Style:
09. Click My Computer - Control Panel - Fonts

10. Paste the TrueType Font File that you copied early from the unzipped folder into the Font folder.

And VOILA! You have sucessfully downloaded, and installed a font. Happy downloading.
