blah stupid gradients!

Alright I have a problem. I have PSP7 and I just downloaded some gradients, I thought..I knew where to put them but obviously not. so they didn't work. I put them in a sub folder int he gradients path with all that stuff and it still wouldn't work.

Does anyone have any helpful tips on what I should do?
