Simple Full Icon Tutorial! [PSP7]



We'll be making this:


Into this:



First make a new layer and fill it with dark blue, then set it at exclusion:

We now have this:



Then take this, as a new layer, and set it at overlay:

To get this:



I then used this gradient and set it at multiply:

Now we've got this:



I then used a border brush by quebelly, in the same color of the blue exlusion layer [hex code #0B1F38], and put it on exclusion:

Then to finish it off I added a new layer, put 'Spencer' in white Arial and set the layer at soft light.

My layers now look like this:



And my final icon looks like this:



It's really simple, and not the greatest icon ever. But, I like it and it'll spruce up anything really. :)
