Jennifer Garner Icon Tutorial
This is just my first icon tutorial, so please don't kill me if I did something wrong.
It's actually quite simple. I only have photoshop 5 right now, so it works for PS 5+
This tutorial will show you how to get two different icons.
This one:

Start with this image

Step One
Crop Image

Step Two
Play with the brightness/contrast a bit.
(I went to brightness of +13, and contrast of +17)

Step Three
Duplicate the layer and set the blending mode to screen.

Step Four
Duplicate the layer again and set the blending mode to soft light.

Step Five
Use this gradient and set the blending mode to multiply.

Step Six
Use stock images with lots of light, and set the blending mode to overlay.
(I used the following two on top of each other)


Now, you're left with this icon

Optional
Step Seven
If you want the icon to look like this.

Add this layer under the stock photos and set the blending mode to multiply.

Now you're done, and left with a very pretty icon!!! Congrats!
