CS5 Help - Problems with black and white spectrum
Hello, I'm having a problem in CS5 with the color spectrum. I had hoped it was something I could work around but now it's messing up my images too and I haven't been able to find anything of help at all.
In the right upper corner, where the color, swatches, and styles module is located is where I'm having my issues. Normally the black and white gradient spectrum goes from the foreground to background (in my case black and white) by blending with grey, but I've noticed that when I open Photoshop the spectrum, instead of just being black and white, blends with a sepia tone, like so:

This probably wouldn't be such an issue but it's affecting my images too. When I try to use brushes or stamps they're always tinged with that awkward sepia tone around the edges. And when I paste any picture into photoshop, it has the same sepia tone, regardless of whether it's originally black and white or color.
When I past directly into Photoshop:

When switching to black and white:

I'm really stumped what to do to fix this. I recently bought my computer, with Windows 8, and installed CS5 (64-bit) onto it. I appreciate any and all help, thank you!
