Photoshop Newbie
So I purchased a Mac laptop a couple months ago only to later find out that I cannot use my precious PSP 8.... I know, so 2004 of me, lol. Well I've hated Photoshop with a passion, it's so bloody confusing in comparison to PSP, creating a simple icon base is so difficult for me. Can anyone here explain how I can do this?
I'm currently using Photoshop CS5. In PSP, I would simply crop and resize an image, create a new blank file and set the height and width to 100x100px, and simply copy and paste the cropped resized image into the blank square, flatten the layer and save it as a .png file. Now I've been doing that for about 10 years, if there is a much easier way to do that on photoshop, please enlighten me, because I have no idea what I'm doing. Or if there is a tutorial you can link me to, that would be great as well.
