Photoshop 7.0 coloring

In PS7, a white background looks yellow for me. To be honest, all the colors look different than when I actually upload them. Is there a way to fix it so the colors look like what it is? It gets annoying after a while to upload the icon so many times to get the color you want.

I've looked in the Memories and I haven't found anything that answers my question, but I may have overlooked something. And if I have, I'm terribly sorry.
