grunge effect?
How can I achieve the grunge effect in these icons with Adobe Photoshop CS3?

I tried using dark grunge textures and multiply them, but even after playing around with the opacity it still ended up looking too dark, while when I set the texture on screen it ended up looking too light and the grunge effect isn't visible enough.
