Eliminating certain shades from screencaps.

A while back, someone posted a helpful tip about flood-filling a new layer with a yellowish color to get rid of the bluish tint that some screencaps have. Now I'm wondering if there is a similar trick to getting rid of a pinkish tint in certain screencaps. I've tried several different colors and they just don't help at all. I use PSP9.
