quick question

Hey all! I've been making icons for years, but I finally just got Photoshop. Yay! I'm having fun playing around with it, but there's one thing I can't seem to figure out that I know people can do. How do you remove the network logo from a screencap of a tv show? I hate those little buggers, and all these years I've just been cropping around them, but I've seen people remove them before. So can someone please share their knowledge with me? Thanks a bunch in advance! :)

Also, I have no idea what tag would go with this.
