I tried using fading effect in my gifs but I have a problem.

When I try to 'tween' last frames of gif I always end up with additional layer - the first layer of a gif. So instead of 2 I wanted to tween I have the first one too. I tried lower opacity levels but the first frame is always there.
Any help?
I'm using ImageReady. I hope you can understand me.
