Hi...I'm brand-spanking new to all icons, graphics, etc (I have PS7)...and your site has been incredibly helpful. I was actually able to make a few cute icons with changing frames.

I have one major problem: whenever I make the icon (no matter how simplistic), livejournal always says that it is over 40K & can't be uploaded. I'm comfortable with making the image 100x100 pixels, and the right format (gif, jpeg, etc) but I have no idea how to alter the amount of information (?) carried by the icon. Help, please!
