Problem with Animation Shop

I'm currently trying to make gifs from a video I just recently downloaded but Animation Shop keeps screwing up the video and they turn out like this:


Gif is supposed to be color and shouldn't be distorted.

I even played the video to make sure the file wasn't messed up and it's completely fine. I don't know if there are certain settings on AS that I need to fix but if anyone knows please let me know! thanks!
