Hello! So I'm new here, and I need some help with some icons I'm trying to make. I've been using Adobe Photoshop CS4 for a while and I love it, and I'm trying to learn how to make animated gifs, from videos, like this one:

So I figured out how to make some and this is one I've made:

Thing is, for the userpics on livejournal they can't be bigger than 40kb. Mine is 100x100, but like 170kb for some reason. I'm wondering if there's a way I can make this image size small enough for livejournal standards, but without doing anything dramatic to my icon, like re-sizing. Or maybe there's another way I can make this icon?
