Saving issues?
Hi everyone. I'm currently using Photoshop CS3, and recently I've come across a strange error(?) which only seems to occur when I'm saving icons on a Mac.
Everything shows up fine while I'm working on the icon in Photoshop itself. However, once I save it using the Save for Web option, there is a drastic difference in color.
( I use Save for Web in the PNG24 preset because I find that JPEG, while smaller, tends to grain up a fair bit. )
I've tried the solutions suggested by Viget's Color Shift fix, but none of it seems to be working for me, so I was wondering if you iconists here have any other solutions, if you've come across this before? That failing, is there a way for me to do a Save As in PNG format without having my icon go over 40kb? I tried it with the icon in the example and it turned out to be 112kb so I guess I still have an issue here!
