Today's tutorial is nothing too fancy or complicated. Just some basic photoshop stuff which will help you edit your pics.

So we start with taking our pic. I have this:

Layer > Duplicate Layer > Set to Screen. Opacity: 30% Fill: 68%. Of course this depends if you want your pic lighter or not.

Then since I want Maryse to have a lighter skin tone, I make a new layer. I take the color picker and select the lightest part of her skin (#de9f78). We take a brush with hardness 0% and begin tracing all over her face and neck, excluding eyes, nostrils and mouth.
Now you should all have something like this:

Looks pretty terrible right now, doesn't it? D: No worries, we will fix that right now.
Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur: Radius: 4.0 pixels.
Filter > Blur > Box Blur: Radius: 9.0 pixels.
We set the layer to Lighten with Opacity: 39% and Fill: 60%.

You could easily ignore this step if you want to, but I wanted to change her skin tone a bit. Here's what we've done so far:

Now time to edit the eye color, but first merge your layers together so layer disorder doesn't get in the way.

Then we go Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue and Saturation. Click OK when the box pops out. Make sure you check the Colorize box

You should change the hue/saturation to your liking of course, but here is what I selected:

Although the Avatar look is awesome, it's not what we're after today, so we take the Paint Bucket Tool. Make sure your foreground color is black, then click over the hue and saturation layer and now pic should be back to normal. Only difference from before is your Hue & Saturation layer has a mask:

Now we take the brush tool. Master Diameter depends on you, mine is 8 pixels. Hardness 100%. Change the foreground color to white and then go over the eyes with the brush. Do not fear if you go out of the contours of the eyes, you can fix that by making brush color black and going over it. Although you COULD color the whole eye with the brush, I advise you not to go over the pupils. It makes the eyes look a tad fake. And we don't want that now do we.

Here's what I got:

Since the blue is too fake blue, I put the layer to Lighten. Since it too light now, I duplicate the Hue & Saturation layer. But now her eyes seem to have some glassy stuff over them and it looks like she's got Conjunctivities D: So we put opacity to 49%. And whatever part is sticking out of the eye we go over with the black brush.

So now we have this:

Merge the layers together. Here if you want, you can take the burn tool and use it a bit over the pupils. Then the dodge tool and run over the glistening white thingies over the eyes. In my opinion it makes the eyes a bit more alive, but it depends on you folks :)

Now time to put some make up on her. So New Layer and we take a brush tool with hardness 0%. For her cheekbones I take #f26522. Now I know most of you will freak when you see what color that is. Don't go all WHO USES SUCH ORANGE BLUSH DAMMIT :@ ,because it's not going to stay that way u_u Unless you want it to x_x But yes, you can pick whichever color you want and make it whatever way you want, but for now let's stick to my example ;)

Go over the cheekbones with the brush

Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur: Radius: 24 pixels. Then set it to Lighten. Her cheeks should have a nice peachy glow

Then we do the lips. New Layer again. Take brush, a solid one in this case will be better and color #ea267f. We go over the lips.

Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur: Radius: 2 pixels. Set to Soft Light with Opacity: 58%
Ad now we have this:

Eye shadow next. New Layer. Soft brush is preferable, color is #5e3e23.
So now it's like this:

You can go about this, just like all the other make up stuffs, whichever way you like it. I prefer a bit less, coz Maryse is naturally beautiful. But if we want Lady Gaga effect, go for it :D

Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur: Radius 4 pixels. Change to Saturation with Opacity: 72%.
And we have:

Then we merge layers together and if you want, you can take the burn tool and gently run it over her eyelashes. You COULD do it strong, so it will look like this:

But as I said already it all depends on your taste and if you're going for natural look or heavy make up. That being said, be careful with the burn tool. Although it's fun to watch the change, you should stay away from the eyeliner style that makes you look like a messed up raccoon :S

But you're finally done! CONGRATS! :D *throws confetti* That wasn't so hard, now was it?

Here's the before & after look:

More examples done the same way:

Of course you can still edit eye color even if blue eyes are already blue.

And no you don't need to make them as creepy blue as I did. I was just giving an example of eye color manipulation ;)

If you have any questions, ask away. But I hope I was clear enough and made this helpful :D
