help...please?
This is the first time i've had this problem and don't really know what to do. I'm sure other people have had the same problem I just how to word it to search the memories. Any help, even pointing me to the proper term so I can search myself, would be truly helpful.
I started out with making this icon on ps7:
But when I tried to take it over to image ready to do some more work on it, it converted over as this:
The gradiant color is gone as is the color of the brush that I used over the top of the gradiant. I've fiddled around with it for awhile but can't seem to make any difference. Please, any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok, I still have no idea what caused the problem in the first place, but I found a way to bipass it. I merged the gradiant layer with the background layer. When I switched it over to image ready the color stayed and I was able to work with it from there. I'd still like to know just what happened, but at least it's possible to work around it for anyone else that ever has the same problem.
