Small Text and Pixel Fonts in PSP7

I've been using PSP7 for almost a year and I still can't seem to get my text to look right. One of my main problems is small text/pixel fonts, I've tried all of the tutorials in the memories but it still comes out blurry or like a blob.

So I was wondering, how do you guys get your text to look good? Is it a PSP versus Photoshop thing? Or am i just stupid lol
