Includes: Textures, Sharpen, Color Layers, Brightness/Contrast, Channel Mixer, & Color Balance
1. Take this texture
-This step doesn't do much. Its just going to give it a softer look.
2. Copy merge these layers. (Shift + CTRL + C) Paste top. (Shift + L).
3. First you're going to sharpen it.Then you're going to go to Adjust > Sharpness > High Pass Sharpen.
Radius: 18.00 Strength: 18 Blend Mode: Soft Light
4. Make a new layer. Layers > New Raster Layer. Set it as Multiply 100%. Flood fill it with #E0B7A4.
-Its going to look dark, washed out, and pink now.
5. Take this texture
-Its going to look darker, but put some contrast into the pink.
6. Layers > New Adjustment > Brightness/Contrast
Brightness: 20 Contrast: 15
-This will brighten it and put contrast to it. It will still look soft though.
7. Layer > New Adjustment > Channel Mixer
Red: 80, 8, 10, 7
Green: -7, 104, -3, 2
-It will add even more pink to it, but it will be a softer pink.
8. Layers > New Adjustment > Color Balance. You're going to uncheck the preserve luminance box.
Midtones: 23, 0, -17
Shadows: 2, 19, 0
Highlights: 18, 13, 25
-This will make your icon brighter by highlighting the yellows while still keeping the pinks.
9. Duplicate the base. Right click your base on the layer pallette and select duplicate. Drag the base all the way to the top. Set it as Soft Light.
-This will give the icon a complete look. It will make the skin stand out and put a pop to the lips and eyes.
