Question about recalibrating colours for a new monitor
Now I've gone through the memories first, so I really really hope that I didn't just look over the question when asked by someone else...
I know this isn't directly connected to icons, but since I mainly use my photoshop for icons, banners and lj-layouts I hoped that noone would mind.
I've got photoshop 7, now I never had a problem, till I bought my new flatscreen monitor.
Now for some reason, whenever I make a picture or icon, or anything in photoshop, when I try to save it, half the colour, usually the warm colours, dissappear from the saved picture.
It still shows up, looking the same way it did in my photoshop in the saved pic preview, but when I open the pic afterwards, the colours are faded and look flatter.
I think it has something to do with recalabrating the colours with the new monitor or something like that (or so my photshop seven guide book says), but how do I do that and how do I get my colours to stay the same saved for the web, as they are in photoshop?
