I'm pretty new at making icons and I've been searching a tutorial where I can learn how to add a texture to an icon step by step.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS4.
For example a texture with text like this:
by 
bbatori just put the text in the icon.
Or this one
by xraggamuffin
Or this one
