Um, I looked in the memories/FAQ and didn't see anything that would answer this question.
I have my brushes/textures/etc neatly organized in folders and by name, with a handy link-containing text file. This is Good for Me, because forgetting where to give credit is bad manners.
However! I feel weird posting icons and NOT telling people to credit the brush maker in their comments (I don't require any credit to me for not-edited icons as of now, but I might change it), but I get the feeling otherwise nice icons are being passed over because people don't want to remember brush credits for an icon they didn't even make.
So, what should I do? I don't like the idea of the icons going without credit, but I figure if I don't require credit I don't get bent out of shape when I don't get it... right?
Sorry if this is an inappropriate post, I just figured you guys would know or have advice.
