Ello! Back again for some tutorialness. Again, I made this icon in PS Elements, but it can translate...I think, haha. Today I will be showing you this:
I'm going to make this short and simple.
1. Crop and resize.
2. New layer, gradient,
, set to Soft Light, Opacity 100%.
3. New layer, floodfill, colour a goldish thing, mine was #E7AC4E, set to Colour Burn, 52%.
4. New layer, floodfill, bright pink, mine was #EB318D, set to Exclusion, 47%.
5. New layer, duplicate of base layer, set to Screen, 100%.
6. Text, I picked out a colour from the picture, her hair, a maroonish thing, and typed 'smoky eyes' in 12 pt Elegant.
7. New layer, same colour as text, I used a brush from
photoshopranger and it can be found in
100x100_brushes, and applied it twice to the side, like this: 
8. Merge and enjoy!
