Help with PSP9

Hey, I need help with using brushes in PSP9. I don't know how to use them, I looked in the memories &FAQ but they only have a tutorial for actually using the brushes for PSP7, and the way to use them are different. I don't see the white box they talk about. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it sooo much and if this is an illegal post I'm sorry, I just didn't see any tutorial on how to use brushes for PSP 9.
