a small problem

Ok, so after working with PS7 for quite awhile, I've hit a snag. It refuses to show me anything that I type in anymore. I have no idea what happened, it just stopped one day. I've changed the colors, I've changed the font, I've changed the size, I've tried new layers, I've tried background layers, I've tried new icons and old icons both. It refuses to show me any type. In the layer menu on the side it still shows me exactly what I typed, it just refuses to show up on the icon. I looked though the memories but couldn't find anything to help me out. If I missed it or if anyone knows what I did please let me know and I'll be very very happy.

Turns out it was a resolution error. When I made a screen cap, something came out as 2 pixels instead of 72...just a tad bit of difference. Thank you to anyone that responded to help out, it's nice to know that there is a community that actually will help when someone needs it.
