This is for PSP 8.
Start of with an untouched photo of the person you want to make into an icon. This picture is off the stunning Emmy Rossum.
I must warn you i crop my icons alot, probably more than most people. So you can crop it however many times you wish, but it might be easier my way. Our first crop is at 450x450. I cropped the major part of the body in this one.
Then you will repeat the cropping, only the dimensions should be 350x350.
Finally for the last cropping set the dimensions to 150x150.
Now we are going to need to resize it, or you can crop it down more, but i prefer to resize. IMAGE>>RESIZE or for lazy people Shift+S.
This window will pop up, now my psp is a little weird so instead of making it 100x100 like a normal icon i have to make it 98x98 in order to add a border correctly, i have tried fixing it but it never worked. So for now we will resize it to 98x98. Hit ok. Now you are done.
This is the final product after i've added a nice little border. Feel free to work on the icon even more!
