New here and need your help
Hi...I am new here, and also new to making icons.
I do not have any fancy programs, and I am looking to purchase a program that will allow me to make nice icons.
At the moment I am using the regular 'Paint' program that comes standard to a new computer, and a program called Arc Impressions 5 that I got with my digital camera for christmas....
Here is what it allows me to do
No fading no special effects. Needless to say a little frustrating. Anyway about that program....I am really not willing to pay thehundreds of dollars that they are asking for when you purchase photo shop 6.0 or 7.0 way to expensive for my blood....so the question is....does anyone know where I may be able to pick a good program for cheap? I am not asking for illegal wares or programs just someplace with good discounts. Online or in the Philadelphia area.
Anyway Please Help....Desperate Soul wanting to Desperatly make really nice Icons........
